Breezy — Elevate Sales Performance

Last updated: 5 October 2026

In short

Breezy is an internal training tool for TCL Air Conditioning promoters and distributors across the Middle East, Africa and the Gulf. It is not an advertising product. Nothing collected here is sold, and nothing is shared with an advertising network or a data broker.

You can browse the training content, ask the assistant questions and use the calculator once you have entered an email address at the sign-in screen; without one, nothing in Breezy answers. That address is the only detail asked for at the door; your name is asked for only when you choose to sit an exam.

What is collected

a. Usage events (no name, no email)

When you open a tab, a content card or a video, the app records the event type, a reference to the item, and the time. If you are signed in as a promoter, the event carries a pseudonymous identifier derived from your email by a one-way hash — the email itself is not stored on the event. These records are capped and overwritten oldest-first.

Separately, opening the app, switching tabs, opening a card, link or video and using the energy calculator each write one line to a short access log: the action, the time, the connecting IP address and the browser's user-agent string. Where you have signed in, the line carries the name or email you used; otherwise it is keyed by IP address alone. The log holds the newest 500 lines and overwrites oldest-first. It exists to notice a shared or misused sign-in address, and it is the only place an IP address or a browser string is kept.

b. What you open, linked to your email

Once you have signed in, each time you open the app, a tab, a content card, a video, the Airflow Lab or the calculator, and each question you ask the Sales Coach, is recorded with the email address you signed in with, the product line and the time. No IP address and no browser are kept with it. A question is kept as its first 120 characters, with any email address or phone number in it masked. This record is kept for 90 days after the day it was made. The operator can see it, and a country trainer can see it for the promoters of their own country. A copy of each day's record is saved as a file in a Google Drive folder owned by the operator (see “Where it is stored”).

c. Exam entries (includes your email)

If you choose to take an exam, you are asked for your name, position, country and email address. These are stored with your answers, score and the time you submitted, so results can be reported and a monthly leaderboard produced. The leaderboard shows name, country, points and how many assessments were sat — never an email address.

Where an administrator has connected one, exam results may also be forwarded to Google Sheets in a Google Drive folder owned by the operator of this deployment.

d. Feedback

The feedback form stores your message, the language you were using and, only if you type one, a contact detail. Leaving contact blank is fine.

e. Stored on your device

Signing in as a promoter stores a session token and your display name in your browser's local storage on that device, together with a short list of items you recently opened so the app can offer them again. Signing in with any address also sets a cookie that tells Breezy you have signed in: it carries the address you entered, signed so it cannot be altered, and lasts at most 30 days. It is sent only to Breezy itself and is used only for that. Signing out clears both.

f. Promoter evaluations

Supervisors and trainers can file an evaluation of a promoter on the shop floor: the promoter's name, the store, the scores, coaching notes and an action plan, with who filed it and when. The newest 500 are kept, and a copy of each day's evaluations is saved to the operator's Google Drive folder.

g. Not collected

No location, no contacts, no camera or microphone access, no advertising identifier, and no cross-site tracking. The Android app declares no runtime permissions.

Because there is no cross-site tracking, a browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is honoured by construction — there is nothing here to opt out of.

h. Sign-in email

Breezy asks for an email address before it opens. If the address is on the roster of registered promoters, the full library unlocks on that device. If it is not, you continue to the shared training content. Either way the address is recorded, with the time of first and last use, a visit count, the language you were using and whether it matched the roster — so the team can see how many people use Breezy. It is not used to decide what you may see: that is decided only by the roster.

Why

Usage events exist to show which training material is actually reaching the sales floor and, more importantly, which material is being missed. Exam data exists to record who has been assessed on which document. Feedback exists so problems reported by promoters reach whoever can fix them.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Data is held in a managed Redis database (Upstash) and served from Vercel. Usage events are capped and rotate automatically. The activity record is kept for 90 days after the day it was made. Exam results are retained while the programme runs; feedback is retained until it has been dealt with. Sign-in addresses are kept for 12 months from your last use and then removed, and the register holds no more than 5,000 addresses.

Every day, Breezy saves a CSV copy of four reports into a Google Drive folder owned by the operator: that day's activity record, the evaluations filed that day, the reading report (who has read which training material) and the sign-in register. They hold no IP address and no browser. These copies are kept in that Drive until the operator deletes them.

Transport is HTTPS throughout. Content that is restricted to promoters is withheld from anyone the roster does not recognise.

Access, correction and deletion

Write to aliafar1997@gmail.com and ask for a copy of what is held about you, a correction, or deletion. To identify your records, quote the email address you used at the sign-in screen or when sitting an exam. Deleting your exam entries also removes you from the leaderboard. A deletion covers your activity record too, and the operator replaces the affected days' copies in Google Drive so they no longer hold it.

To clear what is on your device, sign out from the promoter badge in the header, or clear site data for this app in your browser or Android settings.

Children

Breezy is a workplace tool for retail staff and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Third parties

The app is served by Vercel and stores data in Upstash Redis. Training documents, images and videos are hosted on Google Drive and YouTube; opening one contacts Google under Google's own privacy policy. Where an operator has enabled it, exam results may be written to Google Sheets, and the daily reports saved as files in Google Drive, in the operator's own account. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means the updated policy applies.
